About the Job

The Greater London Authority (GLA) is seeking an experienced Communications Strategist to lead the development and delivery of the overall communications strategy for the Oxford Street transformation programme. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with senior colleagues, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering effective public engagement and consultation processes.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled communicator to join our team and play a key part in shaping the future of one of London's most iconic areas. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that engages and influences high-level stakeholders, including business groups, local authorities, and community organizations.

As a Communications Strategist, you will work closely with the Mayor's Office, External Relations, TfL, and private sector partners to ensure alignment and coordination of messaging and activities. You will also oversee the development of strategic campaign and communications plans to achieve maximum impact and value for money.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about communications, has excellent project management skills, and is able to think strategically. If you have experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders, and delivering complex projects, we want to hear from you
