Trainee Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a trainee engineering assistant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various departments, including Foundry, Core Department, and Grinding & Finishing Department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Foun dry Operator/Moulder: Processing sand moulds and cores, pouring metal into sand moulds, and working with materials such as Aluminium and Magnesium alloys.
  • CORE Dept: Sand filling operation, sand plugging, and working with 3D shapes.
  • Foun dry Labourer: Manual knocking out of sand moulds, assisting with metal pouring, and physically demanding heavy industrial work.
  • Grinding & Finishing Department - Fet tler: Performing tasks using electric hand tools and abrasive machinery to finish and dress metal products.

This is a Temp to Perm role, with a competitive salary of £15 per hour plus overtime at time and a half. Early morning starts are required but with some flexibility.

Salary: £15/hour + Overtime

Location: Worthing, West Sussex

This role offers the opportunity to attain a Level 3 Foundry Cast metals Diploma and develop skills in manual handling awareness and teamwork.
