Are you a passionate and experienced French teacher looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified French teacher to join our client school in Stevenage on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a degree in French or a related subject, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and experience teaching French at KS3 and KS4. They should be able to deliver high-quality lessons that develop students' language skills, cultural awareness, and passion for French.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach French to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, effective lessons that cater to diverse abilities
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress according to school policies
  • Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and promote a positive language-learning environment
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages students to excel
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as language clubs, trips, and cultural events
