Job Title: Financial Manager

Job Summary:

As a key member of the core EPR Project Team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will be responsible for all financial aspects of the Trust Electronic Patient Record implementation project. This includes providing specialist financial support and advice to the Trust Digital team regarding the financial implications of the EPR project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute towards the formulation of the EPR Full Business Case and provide finance support in the assessment of supplier cost submissions.
  • Lead responsibility for financial monitoring and accounting of the EPR element of the Trust's capital programme, including financial analysis and technical accounting treatment.
  • Report the project to the Trust senior management team and ensure the programme is adequately resourced and targets are achieved.
  • Provide financial information, support, and advice to operational managers, clinical directors, and other managers within the Trust Digital Team in relation to the EPR implementation project.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the formulation and implementation of the financial aspects of the EPR Full Business Case in accordance with the Trust's strategic aims and objectives.
  • Take financial responsibility in the EPR competitive tendering process to ensure that best value is achieved.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital, and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
