At Fawkes & Reece (North), we are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain our Health and Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to site teams, management, and directors on health and safety matters.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor and audit health and safety practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 standards.
* Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff are equipped to implement health and safety effectively.
* Manage the training matrix and ensure all staff receive necessary inductions and training.
* Report to the MD on health and safety performance, environmental impact, and training requirements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a construction or similar industry.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
