About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Coordinator to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line Troubleshooting and Performance Improvement: Identify and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and optimizing line performance.
  • Team Support and Development: Assist line operatives in managing and improving line performance, deputize for operatives during breaks or absences, and provide training and guidance as needed.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular checks to ensure products meet quality parameters, identify and address any quality control issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports, including production data, quality control results, and any issues or concerns.
  • Process Improvement and Efficiency: Collaborate with the Area Process Leader to identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers during factory visits, providing information and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills: Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Education and Qualifications: Minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths, with a Food Safety Level 3 and Health & Safety Level 3 qualification (training can be provided).
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
