Role Overview

RSM is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Birmingham office. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services on a portfolio of clients.

About the Job

This position involves working alongside other service lines such as Audit and Tax, and reporting into the client relationship Partner on matters of additional advisory and client care. You will also manage the working capital of projects, including budgeting, cost management, billing, and debt recoverability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK GAAP (FRS102 Section 1a, FRS 102), IFRS, and accounting principles. They should be able to provide insights to clients, drawing on the firm's depth of resources, and help introduce other service lines as they build relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services on a portfolio of clients.
  • Manage the working capital of projects, including budgeting, cost management, billing, and debt recoverability.
  • Work alongside other service lines such as Audit and Tax and report into the client relationship Partner on matters of additional advisory and client care.

Salary

We offer an estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
