Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team at INEOS. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing CI/CD processes for various applications, automating processes, and leading a team of software developers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for different types of applications
  • Automate processes using Azure services and tools
  • Manage the full release process, including setup and configuration of Azure resources
  • Lead a team of software developers and engineers, providing technical guidance and support
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation and visualization
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors and investigate technical issues

Requirements:

  • Qualification in computer science with a focus on software development or a bachelor's degree in Software Development
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and data modeling
  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, server-side languages, and Azure DevOps
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to unpack complex requirements

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Azure services, including ARM templates and Azure PowerShell
  • Knowledge of load balancers, DNS, virtual networks, and firewalls in cloud environments
  • Ability to lead a team in Agile delivery models, including Scrum or Kanban
