Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our team as a Porter/Cleaner at Oxford Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality cleaning and catering service to our clients.

Main Duties

The Porter/Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients, including moving and handling activities, basic cleaning skills, and knowledge of cleaning materials. The role will also involve working as part of a team and communicating effectively with staff at all levels.

Job Responsibilities

The Porter/Cleaner will be required to work shift patterns, including lates, earlies, weekends, and bank holidays, with opportunities for extra hours available. The role will also involve undertaking mandatory and statutory training related to the role.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have good general education, experience of moving and handling activities, basic cleaning skills, and some knowledge of cleaning materials. Previous experience as a Porter/Cleaner is desirable, as is basic computer skills and the ability to work towards food hygiene training.
