Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and versatile professional to join our team at ADM as a Multi Skilled Driver. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a LGV vehicle, delivering bulk and bag products to customers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a LGV vehicle in accordance with Department of Transport regulations, EU drivers' hours rules, and company safety and health requirements.
  • Deliver bulk and bag products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects or issues.
  • Unload and deliver flour sacks from LGV's to customers' premises in accordance with company operating procedures.
  • Discharge bulk flour in accordance with company operating procedures.
  • Assist in training and development of colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and office staff.
  • Clean vehicles at specified intervals and ensure deliveries are undertaken in a hygienic manner.
  • Complete paperwork in respect of vehicle defect procedures, working time, deliveries, and safety observation reports.

Requirements

  • Holding a relevant LGV licence for the vehicle driven.
  • Experience and training in manual handling work.
  • Experience in customer relations.
  • Knowledge of flour products and food hygiene.
  • Possessing a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Good communication skills.
