Production Planning Manager Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager to join our team at GPS Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of production planning and scheduling to ensure the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, and quality.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with the manufacturing management team to develop and implement production plans that meet customer demands and maximize productivity.

* Optimize planning and scheduling processes to minimize delays and ensure timely delivery of products.

* Manage inventory levels and ensure material availability to support production needs.

* Implement and maintain effective engineering change management processes.

* Develop and maintain production schedules and plans to meet customer requirements.

* Automate current process flows from customer order to finished goods.

* Support the implementation of planning tool software to improve efficiency and accuracy.

* Work closely with manufacturing, sales, and technical functions to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

* Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

**Requirements:**

* Previous experience in production planning management is essential.

* Experience in general manufacturing is also required.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Advanced skills in Excel and analytical problem-solving are essential.

* Commercially aware with strong influencing skills to drive business results.
