About the Role:

We are seeking a graduate with strong academics and a passion for working with children with SEND/SEMH needs to join our team of teaching staff in a highly regarded secondary school located in Hounslow. As a SEN Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to class teachers within the classroom, assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups. You will also support pupils in and out of lessons, monitoring and recording interventions, and setting targets for individuals to work towards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
* Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
* Supporting pupils in and out of lessons (KS3, KS4, KS5)
* Monitoring and recording interventions
* Setting targets for individuals to work towards

Requirements:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Positive, confident individual with a 'can-do' attitude
* A graduate from a reputable university
* Highly motivated and passionate about working with children
* Experience with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
