Are you interested in working as a SEMH teaching assistant in a special school in Seaford? Do you have the experience and qualifications to work with children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs?

Austin Fraser Sussex is looking for a SEMH teaching assistant to work at a unique and inspiring school in Seaford. The school is part of a multi-academy trust that provides specialist education for children and young people aged 4-16 with a range of needs, including SEMH, autism, ADHD and dyslexia.

Job Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working in schools or with young people
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in education or childcare
  • Ability to converse easily and maintain good interpersonal relationships
  • Skills to de-escalate challenging behaviour and promote positive outcomes

The working hours are 08:30-16:00, Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity to join a caring and supportive team and make a difference in the lives of children and young people.

The estimated salary for this role is £90-95 per day.
