Veterinary Practice Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Leader to join our senior leadership team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our veterinary practice.

About the Role

As Veterinary Practice Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our veterinary practice. You will work closely with the clinical team to maintain efficient workflows, provide outstanding patient care, and foster a positive and client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership:
    • Provide strategic leadership to the practice team.
    • Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and success.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage practice income and expenses effectively.
    • Oversee insurance claims, billing, and banking processes.
    • Collaborate with the Clinical Director to achieve financial goals.
  • Operational Management:
    • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across clinical and administrative workflows.
    • Address operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Staffing and HR:
    • Lead recruitment, training, and development of practice staff.
    • Foster a supportive and motivated team environment.
    • Ensure high employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Health and Safety:
    • Work with the Health and Safety Partner to maintain compliance with veterinary protocols.
    • Ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.
  • Facility and Equipment Management:
    • Oversee maintenance of the practice's facilities and equipment.
    • Manage inventory and ensure resources are available for high-quality care.
  • Client Experience:
    • Promote a welcoming and professional environment for clients and their pets.
    • Handle client complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience in a veterinary practice is highly desirable, but we also welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in healthcare or other similar fields.
