We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in industrial vehicles, marine systems, or similar environments to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing explosion-proof solutions and integrating Ex certified components into industrial materials handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical design principles, experience with Ex certified components, and proficiency in designing electrical systems using AutoCAD. You will work on cutting-edge projects that ensure compliance and enhance safety in hazardous environments.

The Role:

  1. Create and integrate Ex certified components into industrial materials handling equipment.
  2. Develop detailed electrical system designs and enclosure layouts using AutoCAD.
  3. Address electrical and mechanical system integration within space-constrained environments.

The Person:

  1. Proficiency in designing electrical systems, including experience with Ex certified components.
  2. Knowledge of electrical and electronic control systems, including AC inverters, industrial controllers.
