Job Description: Cloud Native Monitoring Engineer - Observability Expert

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Cloud Native Monitoring Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering team focused on Observability. As an expert in cloud-native monitoring services, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining elastic and resilient monitoring platforms that promote a self-service approach.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Designing and deploying cloud-native monitoring services using Python or Go
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing monitoring infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability
  • Developing automation scripts to streamline monitoring processes and improve efficiency
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate monitoring services with other Cisco products and solutions

Requirements:


To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • A strong understanding of monitoring and alerting systems, as well as experience with AWS services
  • Excellent programming skills in Python or Go, with knowledge of cloud-native technologies
  • A passion for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment


About the Role

This position is based in London, United Kingdom, and offers a competitive salary of approximately £120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
