About the Job

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Specialist to join our Service Delivery team in Birmingham. As a Junior Support Analyst, you will provide 1st and 2nd line technical and application support to business users across all functional areas of the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance to business users via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Maintaining detailed records of user issues with software and hardware to enhance the BIS knowledge base.
  • Deploying new equipment and solutions to business users.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the BIS department.

About You

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in an IT environment and can demonstrate the use of a range of technologies, especially the Microsoft Technology stack.

You will have an aptitude and demonstrable motivation to learn both via formal settings and via informal colleague mentoring. Within your experience, you will evidence demonstrating ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, including expertise in prioritising competing workloads, with the ability to work independently or part of a team.

To this role, you will need to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to business users in terms that they will understand.

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including:
