We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a good school in Newcastle. As a key member of staff, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a supportive learning environment for pupils with special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with SEN students and a strong desire to get involved in every aspect of the school. Experience with children who have Autism is highly desirable.

In addition to your teaching experience, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. A qualification in Positive Handling, Restorative Justice, and First Aid would be an advantage.

Successful applicants will be subject to references and an up-to-date DBS or be willing to apply for a Protocol DBS. Pay scale depends on skills and experience. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
