Opportunity Overview

ARC (Norwich) Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cambridge. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work across 3 days on-site, 1 day from home, and 1 day in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of cost management for commercial construction projects
  • Prepare and manage contracts, budgets, and valuations
  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and align with financial goals
  • Provide detailed reports and financial forecasts to senior management
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on commercial projects
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and financial management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
