Litho Assistant Opportunity

Eurostampa UK is seeking a skilled Litho Assistant to join our Wet Glue department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Litho Printer on shift, ensuring all elements of the job are correct and in place. This includes checking paper, ink, plates, and rollers, as well as preparing materials for new jobs and troubleshooting to maintain efficient press operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and check all elements of the job, including paper, ink, plates, and rollers
• Prepare materials for new job setups
• Problem-solve to ensure efficient press operation
• Fit printing plates to the machine
• Ensure all print procedures are followed
• Assist with regular machine maintenance
• Keep the machine and surrounding areas clean and tidy

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good eye for detail and accuracy
• Proficient in numeracy and literacy
• Reliable and punctual with excellent timekeeping
• Flexible approach to changing work priorities and deadlines
• Full flexibility, including cross-training between departments

This role involves heavy manual handling and triple shift working.
