Responsibilities:

  • Perform machine maintenance and repairs.
  • Report any manufacturing errors to your supervisor.
  • Immediately report incidents or accidents to your supervisor.
  • Adhere to company safety rules and regulations.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Perform basic housekeeping and machine maintenance.
  • Work with fractions, decimals, and trigonometry.
  • Use precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform machine set-ups without assistance.
  • Conduct quality checks on parts using inspection devices.
  • Work with your supervisor to achieve good production results.
  • Discuss process improvements with the plant manager.
  • Ask questions when drawings are unclear or complicated.
  • Read blueprints and understand manufacturing documents.
  • Update job order times accurately.
  • Double-check completed work.
