Job Title: Trainee Leakage Technician

The successful candidate will work as a Trainee Field Technician covering the South Wales area. This role involves working days with a 40-hour week, focusing on training and development in water leak detection.

 

Job Description

  • To assist in detailed surveys to identify water leakage types and locations.
  • Locate and trace water leaks using specialized equipment, including listening sticks, correlators, cats & generators, and ground microphones.
  • Assist in survey work and project tasks not typically associated with day-to-day leak detection.
  • Adequately complete paperwork, including time sheets, survey forms, leak details, and other duties as required.
  • Possess basic computer skills for uploading data onto a laptop.
  • Holding a full and valid driving license is essential, as the role requires frequent driving.

 

Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduates or individuals with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Ex-forces personnel with relevant experience are also suitable candidates.
  • Those with manual working or outdoor backgrounds may find this role appealing.
