The Design Technician will be responsible for producing detailed designs and drawings to communicate the design intent with architects, engineers, and other key members of a building design team.
Key Responsibilities- Design and detailing of construction products, façades engineering, light steel framing, structural framing systems, or other relevant experience.
- Architectural or structural design experience.
- Brickwork, cladding products, façades, rain screen, SFS, steel framing.
- An organised and structured approach to work and an attention to detail.
- A knowledge of building technology.
- Design software, including: Auto CAD and any experience of SolidWorks, Inventor, Tekla, Revit desirable.
- Microsoft Office Suite, including: Project, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Manufacturing, in particular sheet metal and fabrication.
- No evening or weekend work.
- Additional qualifications/training.
- On-site gym.
- Private healthcare after 12 months service (teeth, glasses, and physio).
- Modern facilities with breakout areas.
- Company events.
- Free on-site parking.
- Cycle to work.
- Pension scheme.
- Continual development.
- 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays, increasing to 25 with service.
