\The Electrical Operations Manager role is pivotal in overseeing and managing daily electrical operations within our organisation. This involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to required quality standards for all electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
\Key Responsibilities:
\- Project Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and oversee electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless coordination with stakeholders.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to plan and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, guaranteeing client satisfaction.
- Project Timelines and Budgets: Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure efficient project execution.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, prioritising the well-being of employees and clients.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to minimise disruptions to production and labour resource management.
- Estimation and Tendering: Generate electrical installation estimates and tenders for project-specific activities.
- Team Management: Manage and coordinate the activities of electrical teams, including project managers, contract managers, site managers, and supervisors.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members, enhancing their skills and competencies.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop individual development plans for team members.
- Safety Protocols: Ensure the team follows all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
- Client Communication: Serve as the final point of contact for clients regarding project updates and issues, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Project Specifications: Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements, conducting site visits to understand scope and potential challenges.
- Material Identification: Identify necessary materials and equipment, designing electrical systems and components that meet industry standards and specific project requirements.
- System Integration: Integrate electrical systems with other engineering systems to ensure seamless operation and efficiency, adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
