Job Summary

About the Role
This exciting opportunity allows you to lead key projects from conception through to completion, making a lasting impact on our operations. You will be responsible for developing and managing project plans in line with long-term strategies, ensuring all phases are fully delivered. Your expertise in electrical engineering and project management techniques will be essential in ensuring compliance with relevant standards during all lifecycle phases.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage project plans in line with long-term strategies
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards during all lifecycle phases
* Support improvement and capital plans as decided by the Senior Engineering team
* Provide expert engineering support for improvement work and problem-solving

What You Need
An ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering combined with experience in the steel industry. Strong analytical, computing, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to create reports. A full driving license and valid passport may be needed for occasional UK and European travel. Experience in areas such as electrical safety and design, PLCs, SCADA systems, digital drives, and motor control would be beneficial.
