Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing audits from planning to completion, mentoring new trainees, and monitoring client deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Mentor and support new trainees in their learning and development, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Monitor client deadlines and ensure these are met, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Audit risk analysis, automation, and testing, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Close liaison with other departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Present and answer questions at client and committee meetings, effectively communicating technical matters and building trust with clients.
- Oversee workflow and improve processes where possible, driving efficiency and productivity within the team.
- Able to work alongside and part of the senior management team, supporting company growth and strategic objectives.
- Assist with target setting and department budgeting, contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients, driving business growth and revenue.
- Confident in networking to promote the department, building relationships with clients and partners.
- Overseeing the audit team and championing the firm's values within the team, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
- Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills, building trust and rapport with clients.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.

What's On Offer:- A competitive salary of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum.

- Previous supervisory experience, with a positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
- Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency, driving productivity and growth within the team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
