About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated E-Commerce Assistant to join our team at Woking & Sam Beare Hospices. As an E-Commerce Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our online retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of our e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and improve customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the retail team to ensure accurate and timely inventory management.
  • Provide excellent customer service through email, phone, and social media channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce.
Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Photographic flair
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Numerate
  • Literate, with strong grammar skills
  • Able to plan, organise and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to calculate and record basic sums to enable accurate completion of banking and trading statements
  • Basic IT skills
  • Understanding of the current e-commerce environment
  • Effective communicator with excellent communication skills both face to face and in the written form
  • Understanding of safe working practices
