Industrial Refrigeration Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units, multi-compressor packages, and food factory process cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units, multi-compressor packages, and food factory process cooling systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, using technical knowledge and diagnostic equipment to identify and repair problems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure seamless system operation and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure systems are running efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in industrial refrigeration engineering, with a strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems.
  • Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Full clean UK driving license and ability to travel to customer sites.
