Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Practitioner to join our team in the Department of Blood Sciences at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Bassetlaw District General Hospital.

Main Duties
  • To deliver scientific and technical procedures under the direction of a responsible healthcare scientist.
  • Assist in maintaining high scientific and technical standards.
  • Promote and maintain a high standard of relevant education and training.
  • Maintain clinical records and input/interrogate test results.
  • Ensure procedures are performed efficiently and in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ability to prioritize work and ensure correct workflow through the laboratory.
  • Assist in monitoring quality standards and perform audits as required.

Requirements
  • Level 4 qualification or Foundation Level Degree.
  • Experience with a range of laboratory techniques.
  • Keyboard and basic IT skills.
