About the Role

We're seeking a creative and ambitious Digital Storyteller to join our team at Coventry Building Society. As a key member of our social media team, you'll play a vital role in helping us showcase our amazing people and story on various platforms.

In this exciting position, you'll be responsible for creating engaging content that captures the essence of our brand and resonates with our audience. You'll work closely with colleagues across different departments to develop innovative ideas and execute them effectively.

With a strong focus on creativity, you'll need to think outside the box and come up with fresh concepts to keep our social media channels active and interesting. Your expertise in video editing, photography, and content creation will be invaluable in bringing our brand to life.

You'll also be required to stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, ensuring our content remains relevant and engaging. With your analytical skills, you'll help us measure the success of our campaigns and make data-driven decisions to improve our performance.

A key aspect of this role is collaboration. You'll work closely with our communications, marketing, design, and digital teams to ensure our messages are cohesive and impactful across all channels.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about storytelling, has excellent communication skills, and can work well under pressure. Experience in an in-house social media team or agency is desirable, but not essential. What's more important is your ability to think creatively, work collaboratively, and deliver high-quality results.

You'll need to be confident in using video editing software, have experience in taking photos and videos on a phone, and be comfortable with occasional travel and working out of hours when needed. We value diversity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
