We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Controller to join our client, a leading global retail organisation.

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial support to the Board Directors of Sales, Customer Services, HR, IT etc. This includes deputising for the UK Head of Controlling and developing the skills to backfill senior finance roles.

You will liaise effectively with the Commercial Sales Team and present Finance updates at regional sales meetings and other functions as required.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly analysis of c €150m monthly revenue
  • Report performance against KPIs and targets, understanding the drivers of change
  • Monthly analysis of Functional Costs, understanding drivers including FTE movements
  • Financial Accounting, providing compliant financial accounting advice and decisions under IFRS
  • Responsible for external submissions to regulatory bodies

You will require strong financial accounting knowledge and application, as well as strong excel capabilities.

A minimum of 3 years' PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is required, along with a strong academic background.
