The Safety and Compliance Supervisor role is with a leading international manufacturing organization renowned for its dedication to Health and Safety and advancements in engineering processes across its network of facilities.

As part of a significant capital investment initiative aimed at establishing a cutting-edge manufacturing facility and enhancing existing operations, the company is looking for a Safety and Compliance Supervisor to support their operations on a fixed-term basis.

Role Overview of the Safety and Compliance Supervisor:

  • This position will primarily provide health and safety guidance to various internal and external contractors.
  • The role will encompass both administrative health and safety responsibilities and on-site presence to ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols, with support from the central Health & Safety/CDM team as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will be a versatile health and safety expert eager to enhance their experience in project team safety training.


Key Responsibilities of the Safety and Compliance Supervisor:

  • Dedicated health and safety support to project teams
  • Consistent implementation of health and safety standards
  • Conducting site audits and inspections
  • Encouraging safety observations
  • Designing and delivering safety briefings and toolbox talks
  • Managing contractor control, including vetting, induction management, and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
  • Issuing and overseeing permits to work.
  • Providing safety training for project teams
  • Collaborating with key suppliers and OEMs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations


Qualifications and Experience Required:
- NEBOSH certificate or equivalent certification
- Proven experience in contractor management
