Role Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH) in our Psycho-Oncology Department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and make a real difference in the lives of patients with cancer.

This is a part-time, permanent post that offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to clients across Cardiology services.
  • To offer advice, supervision, training, and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues.
  • To work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for clients.
  • To maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community organisations. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
