Learning Support Assistant | Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Barking. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support to learners with additional learning needs and help pupils adjust to their new settings.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/young people who have SEND and a desire to learn and a passion for working with children with additional need.

You will earn up to £105 per day paid via PAYE on a weekly basis and work hours of between 8:30-16:00, Monday-Friday.

About the Job:

  • Provide 1:1 support to learners with additional learning needs
  • Help pupils adjust to their new settings and recognise signs of distress to develop students' self-esteem
  • Earn up to £105 per day paid via PAYE on a weekly basis

  • Establish and promote supportive relationships with students
  • Aware of individual needs and act accordingly

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will have experience working with children/young people who have SEND
  • Desire to learn and passion for working with children with additional need
  • Must have an undergraduate degree from a Top 30 UK University
