Food Service Assistant Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Service Assistant Manager to join our team at Compass Group UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking to advance their career in the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Catering Team Members, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
We estimate the annual salary for this role to be around £30,000 - £35,000 based on industry standards and the level of experience required.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of Catering Team Members, providing guidance and support when needed.
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our clients and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, and inventory management.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas, improving customer satisfaction and increasing sales.
- Have previous experience in a similar catering role, preferably in a senior management position.
- Be a strong leader, able to motivate and inspire a team.
- Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in challenging situations.
