Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Integral UK Ltd. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate all electrical systems within our buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and update our electronic workflow system.
  • Ensure daily checks are completed, and report any defects found via our FM helpdesk.
  • Identify materials required and install them in a timely manner.
  • Comply with statutory and company health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Implement and record statutory inspections, accurately recording in specified logbooks.
  • Review and sign off Specialist Service Provider worksheets, inspect quality, and escalate recommendations to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping in site, plant areas, workshops, stores, and changing/rest areas.
  • Participate in emergency response standby as part of a call-out rota.
  • Escalate urgent issues to the Technical Services Manager and respond to work interruptions, outages, or emergencies.
Electrical System Expertise

The successful candidate will have expertise in building management systems, electrical monitoring, HVAC systems, air handling, air conditioning, chillers, pumps, motors, and variable speed drives.

  • Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Electrical engineering apprenticeship or similar.
  • BS 7671 18th edition.
  • C&G 2391 or equivalent.
  • PPM experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Good IT and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm, clear-thinking, and deliver services within given time constraints.
  • Experience with UPS and standby power.
  • LOTO experience.
  • HVAC experience (not essential).
  • BMS experience (a bonus).
  • CAFM (Corrigo) knowledge (a bonus).
