Exciting Opportunity for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Southam. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles and containers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Review and verify orders before delivery
  • Use handheld devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records
  • Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules
  • Maintain cleanliness of the delivery van and adhere to health and safety guidelines
  • Conduct risk assessments and daily safety checks on the van
  • Adhere to traffic and transportation regulations and company policies
  • Pick orders and prepare them for delivery
  • Assist with general warehouse maintenance and organization
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a valid full driving license
  • Good geographical knowledge and strong customer service skills
  • Experience in manual handling and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet targets and work well in a team environment
  • Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines and undertake any necessary training
