Education Specialist SEMH

We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematics Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This temporary role will require you to work full-time hours, providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in English and Maths GCSE subjects.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory for this position.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is also required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level is necessary.
- Familiarity with teaching English and Maths at GCSE level is essential.
- Experience working with students with SEN is vital for this role.
- A strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practices is expected.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs is crucial.
- A postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs is desirable but not mandatory.
- Applicants must hold the necessary qualifications and training for this role.
- Safeguarding checks and a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check are mandatory.
- Undertaking child protection and prevent duty training is a requirement.
