Job Overview

Bristol SU Group is recruiting a Conservation Volunteer to support our efforts in maintaining and conserving the local woodland area.

About the Job:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of experienced conservationists and contribute to the preservation of the natural environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in routine maintenance tasks such as clearing brambles, pruning trees, and resurfacing pathways.
  • Participate in tool training and learn new skills in environmental conservation.
  • Support members of the Splatts Abby Woodland and Sills Hill Woodland Conservation Group.

Requirements:

No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and participate is essential.

Working Hours: 10am - 3pm.

Location: A local woodland area near UWE Bristol campus.

Salary: £8-10 per hour (dependent on experience).
