Senior Pricing Analyst

Salary: Up to 65k + Benefits
We're seeking a skilled data professional with a passion for insurance pricing and data optimisation to join our dynamic retail team. As a Senior Pricing Analyst or Pricing Analyst, you'll play a key role in leading large insurance pricing projects and collaborating with underwriters, brokers, and internal teams to deliver data-driven solutions and reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead large-scale insurance pricing projects, leveraging tools like Radar, Python, and Excel to build and optimise pricing models.
- Conduct data analysis, modelling, and visualisation to provide actionable insights that inform pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate pricing processes and workflows, enhancing efficiency and minimising manual tasks.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring seamless data migration and integration.
- Utilise Power BI, Tableau, and other visualisation tools to present pricing data in dynamic and accessible ways.
- Participate in project management and version control, ensuring the smooth delivery of pricing projects.
- Upskill junior team members and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
- Strong programming knowledge in R, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Looker.
- Knowledge of pricing systems, claims handling, and working with large datasets.
- A background in machine learning, data optimisation, and creating data pipelines is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in insurance pricing and data science roles.
- Proven track record in data migration, automation, and workflow optimisation.
- Experience leading projects and collaborating with international teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to act as a bridge between non-technical stakeholders and data teams.
- Degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or evidence of equivalent mathematical proficiency.
