Job Title: Chaplain

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chaplain to join our team at Methodist Homes. As a Chaplain, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual care and support to our residents, promoting their emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

About the Role:
  • Provide spiritual care and support to residents, including leading worship services and conducting pastoral visits.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local faith communities to enhance the spiritual wellbeing of our residents.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote spiritual wellbeing, including workshops, retreats, and other activities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our residents.
  • Participate in staff training and education to promote spiritual care and wellbeing.
Requirements:
  • Ordained minister or lay person in good standing with their Christian community.
  • Experience in providing pastoral care and leading worship services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting spiritual wellbeing and supporting the emotional and spiritual needs of older people.
