About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at OCS UK & Ireland. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity.
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as a point of contact for customers and staff.
  • Liaise with the Police and store management as required.
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Deal with difficult situations in a safe and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • SIA license (DS or Security-SIA).
  • Previous experience of working in a Retail Security Role is an advantage.
