We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead our veterinary care team at GLG Vets in Kensington. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional veterinary care and thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-quality veterinary care and treatment to a variety of animals, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and well-being.
  • Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, utilizing your expertise and experience to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for each patient, ensuring seamless communication with our veterinary team and clients.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic.
  • Ensure the clinic runs efficiently and effectively during your shifts, prioritizing patient care and team performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent), with a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and surgery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of our clinic.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in the field.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, with a passion for learning and improving your skills and knowledge.

Shift Details: This role works to a 4-day week with 1:6 weekends, offering a great work-life balance and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year, with a competitive salary package and benefits that reflect your skills and experience.
