Cleanliness Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

A motivated individual with a background in hygiene management is sought after by a prominent food manufacturing company to fill a permanent night shift position at their site in Kent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a hygiene team, fostering a positive hygiene culture, and promoting high standards throughout the organization.

The compensation package includes a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, along with pension and private healthcare benefits, and relocation support.

Main Objectives:
  1. To oversee daily cleanliness operations and instill a sense of teamwork within the hygiene department.
  2. To collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure training records and risk assessments are accurately prepared for routine maintenance tasks.
  3. To maintain a safe working environment, guaranteeing compliance with established SHE policies and procedures.
  4. To incorporate relevant COSSH data into scheduling protocols as needed.
  5. To uphold stringent GMP standards on a daily basis, ensuring the production facility remains well-maintained and audit-ready.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in hygiene management or supervisory positions.
  • Familiarity with Listeria regulations.
  • Possession of HACCP, Food Safety, and IOSH certifications (advantageous).
