**Job Title:** Database Administrator (Microsoft SQL Server)

**Location:** Remote (4-5 days per week)

**Type:** Freelance (inside IR35) or permanent

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft SQL Server DBA to provide expert support on all aspects of MS SQL server, including design, administration, backup/recovery, deployment, and real-time production.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide DBA support on MS SQL server, including design, administration, backup/recovery, deployment, and real-time production

* Strong knowledge of SQL server, including Windows clustering, availability groups, and distributed availability groups

* Enterprise-scale mission-critical SQL server implementations, VLDB, multiple databases

* Implementation and troubleshooting of SQL server

* Root cause analysis, database monitoring

* SQL server migration/upgrades

* SQL server backup and recovery

* SQL server patch management

**Requirements:**

* Strong knowledge of SQL server and related technologies

* Experience with enterprise-scale mission-critical SQL server implementations

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

* Strong communication and teamwork skills
