Senior Piping Engineer Job Description

At First Recruitment Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting global offshore deepwater projects, specifically focusing on unbonded flexible pipe systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage technical documentation related to unbonded flexible pipes across different project phases.
  • Oversee large EPCI contracts for offshore unbonded flexible pipe systems during both tendering and execution phases.
  • Ensure flexible pipe designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Subsea Systems department and other engineering teams to ensure coordinated efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and HSEQ policies.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience with flexible pipe systems, from preliminary engineering to detailed design.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Experience with mechanical finite element analysis software such as Ansys, Abaqus, or Cosmosworks.
  • Familiarity with dynamic analysis software like Orcaflex.
  • Awareness of design standards for unbonded flexible pipes.
