Warehouse Maintenance Professional Opportunity

Frasers Group is a leader in the retail industry, rethinking retail through digital innovation and unique store experiences. As a Warehouse Maintenance Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the uptime and availability of automated equipment at our 2.5m square foot Distribution Centre in Shirebrook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Engineering Team and deputise for the Maintenance Shift Manager as required
  • Deliver site-based maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure uptime and availability of automated equipment
  • Support and manage all Shift Team activities, including maintenance and servicing of automated equipment, and delivering training and coaching to team members
  • Assist the Engineering Shift Manager in performance reviews, take accountability for safety and administration, and ensure performance KPIs are maximised to improve efficiencies
  • Be a champion of safe working practices and compliance, and a proactive and helpful escalation point for all faults and breakdowns

Requirements:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with automated material handling systems
  • Experience in a senior position within an engineering function, mentoring and leading by example
  • A working understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic technical manuals and drawings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of control systems and techniques
  • Ability to work in a time-critical environment
