Academic Researcher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our team at the University of Cambridge. As an academic researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on developing digitally supported personalized prevention pathways for children's mental health services.

About the Project

The Timely project aims to take forward a blueprint for a preventative pathway, refine it with stakeholders, and co-develop detailed specifications for AI-driven digital tools. You will investigate how heterogeneous factors contribute to differences in neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions using large longitudinal datasets.

Responsibilities
  • Build complex longitudinal models to investigate the role of various factors
  • Develop responsible AI tools and validate them to ensure they are equitable and do not exacerbate or create bias in care delivery
  • Handle large-scale datasets, longitudinal modeling, electronic health records, and develop AI and machine learning knowledge
Requirements
  • An academic CV
  • A research proposal within the specified area (maximum 2000 words)
  • A cover letter indicating a brief summary of your research interests, skills in statistical methods, analyses of large datasets, and coding
Additional Information

This studentship is fully funded through Peterhouse, University of Cambridge. The salary for this position is approximately £15,000 - £18,000 per annum. Applications must be received by midnight on November 30th. Interviews will be held within a month of the application deadline.
