Job Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Design Specialist to join our team at People with Energy in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented engineer to contribute to the design, manufacture, and testing of control panels, switchgear, and automation systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design, particularly in sectors such as utilities, water treatment, and industrial automation. They will be responsible for designing motor control centres, control panels, and LV switchgear, as well as air circuit breakers and fuse switch feeders.

Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for motor control centres, control panels, and LV switchgear.
- Develop PLC & Network architectures, PLC I/O design, relay logic circuits, and instrumentation.
- Produce CAD schematics and Bill of Materials using AutoCAD electrical and Microsoft Access & Excel.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles, including safety regulations and industry standards.
