Job Description: Automated Systems Technician

We are looking for an experienced Automated Systems Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining automated systems and equipment.

The role offers a competitive salary of £45-£50K per annum, plus annual bonuses and a fuel card. Additional benefits include 32 days holiday, a fantastic pension, private healthcare, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of automated systems and equipment
  • Fault finding and interrogation using Siemens S7
  • Performing routine service checks and breakdown maintenance (both mechanical and electrical)
  • Working as part of a team of 10 engineers, primarily covering the Midlands and North West UK, with occasional national and Ireland travel
  • Conducting factory acceptance tests and audits before, during, and after installations
  • Providing end-user support, training, and demonstrations
  • Completing service and maintenance documentation, timesheets, and expenses using a laptop
